This is my first attempt at blogging - all for the sake of  the 1972 graduates of Maryknoll High School of Lupon  who are all computer illiterate (am just trying to make something out of  what little I know).

1972 was the time when cellphones and computers were unheard of but it was nonetheless a wonderful time to be a teen. Life was uncomplicated and we didn't hear the word "stress". "Fun" for us was going out with friends, telling stories and singing our favorite songs accompanied with our resident musician who always brought his guitar wherever we went. Boring by today's standards.

History was made in 1972 when Martial Law was declared. That is why we are called the Martial law babies.

Forty years ago, we separated ways, and didn't hear from each other again... It is with great joy  and anticipation that we try to reconnect with the past.

On May 11, 2012, Batch 1972 of  Maryknoll High School of Lupon will celebrate this milestone with a grand reunion.  It's time to feel again the soul that nurtured and molded us to be what we are today. It will be great to relive the happy moments with our friends. Perhaps you will finally find out if our beauty queen Principal, Sr. Loretta Harriman, was indeed Miss California.  (If you want to know, ask me :-)).

Friends, I hope you'll do your utmost best to attend our 40th anniversary. WE'D LOVE TO SEE YOU!!!
